Your Network, Custom-Build

Why fit in when you were born to stand out? At 3W Infra, your network doesn’t have to follow our overcapacity-built 250Gbit/s Juniper backbone. We can shape an enterprise-grade network design around your unique IT infrastructure requirements.

3W Infra’s proprietary DWDM network ring in the Amsterdam area solidly interconnects three premium datacenters from maincubes, Equinix and Iron Mountain over highly redundant dark fiber. It enables us to custom-build your network with flexible, carrier-neutral connectivity from any rack to any carrier in any of those locations.

Ideally spaced from each other, these interconnected Amsterdam data centers unlock ample deployment scenarios. From simple dual-DC failover to triple-site setups. From low latency 10/25/40/100G L2 links to even L3 transit from our own AS – redundantly connected to NTT, Tata, Telia, RETN, and select internet exchanges. Your focus determines your reality.

10G stands for 10 Gigabit Ethernet, delivering network speeds of 10 Gbps. It offers 10x the bandwidth of 1G, making it ideal for data-intensive workloads including server interconnects, high-resolution video streaming, backups, and large file transfers.

25G stands for 25 Gigabit Ethernet and delivers speeds of 25 Gbps. It offers far more bandwidth than 10G and is common in HPC, modern data centers, and cloud environments where dense, fast server and storage connectivity is required.

40G stands for 40 Gigabit Ethernet and delivers speeds of 40 Gbps. It is commonly used in modern data centers, HPC environments and SANs (storage area networks) to handle large-scale data transfers, aggregation links and virtualization-heavy workloads.

100G stands for 100 Gigabit Ethernet and delivers speeds of 100 Gbps. It is a high-speed standard used for ultra-fast data transfer in modern data centers, telecom backbones, and other high-capacity networks for dense server and storage interconnects.

Wave Metro is Wave Division Multiplexing (WDM) for metropolitan networks. It allows multiple data streams to be transmitted simultaneously over a single optical fiber, enabling high-capacity and high-speed IP connectivity in metropolitan networks.

Ethernet is the main standard for wired IP networking that defines how devices communicate over LANs. It powers most enterprise and data center cabling and supports speeds of 1G, 10G, 25G, 40G and 100G – for scalable high-bandwidth connectivity.

IP transit is an internet service provider (ISP) service that connects your network to the global Internet. It provides upstream capacity, routing, and reachability so your traffic can efficiently exchange data with any other network worldwide.
